Biography

Frank is an experienced civil litigator. He has won numerous jury trials, in federal and state court.  Frank concentrates on the litigation of business disputes.  Among his areas of focus are commercial transactions cases; trade secret, trademark, and copyright actions; securities litigation (including representing clients in SEC proceedings and in FINRA arbitrations); and employment disputes.  Frank also provides employment law counseling.  In addition to his jury trial experience, Frank has successfully handled arbitrations, and has assisted many clients in resolving disputes through mediation.  Frank began his practice at a large firm in Boston and, prior to joining Rich May, practiced at a small Boston firm, which he co-founded.  Frank lives in Sudbury, Massachusetts with his wife Jessie and their two children.

Represented investors in securities fraud action against start-up company.

Litigated web site development company’s employment dispute with former CEO.

Represented on-line services company in copyright action against competitor.

Represented textile manufacturer in trademark and false advertising lawsuit against competitor.

Obtained permanent injunction and money damages for technology company in trade secret claims against competitor and former employee.

Represented medical device manufacturer in arbitration of breach of contract and related claims against distributor.

Lead counsel in jury trial victory for food wholesaler against state transportation agency in lawsuit concerning broken promise to sell real estate.

Lead counsel in jury trial victory for insurer against financial services company in lawsuit arising from breached services agreement.

Honors

Named a “New England Super Lawyer” by Boston Magazine 2006-2007 and 2009-2016.
