Rich May Participates in Lawyers Have Heart 5K

Last night, Team Rich May once again walked/ran in the Lawyers Have Heart 5K, which supports the American Heart Association.  Lawyers Have Heart brings together attorneys and legal professionals in the Boston Area.  This year, Rich May supported our colleague, Anthony McGuinness, who had successful heart surgery in March. “For me to be able to walk a 5K this soon after heart surgery is a testament to the amazing doctors, nurses, and staff at Massachusetts General Hospital and the work of the American Heart Association,” Tony said. “I walk because I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in someone’s life.  When combined with a million other Lawyers Have Heart Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke.”

Tony was the 4th highest fundraiser for Lawyers Have Heart this year, with Team Rich May ranking as the 7th highest fundraising team out of 116 firms that participated. In terms of race results, Rich May’s ringer Owen Holland, the son of attorney Allen Holland, placed 5th overall out of 1,176 competitors, finishing in a blistering 16 minutes, 36 seconds. Eric Krathwohl also placed third in his division, and all 15 runners and walkers on Team Rich May made a strong showing!
