Rich May Congratulates Leah Cohen Selected as 2025 Top Women of Law

By:

Congratulations to Attorney Leah Cohen who was selected for inclusion in the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly 2025 Top Women of Law. Top Women of Law recognizes the exceptional women lawyers in the state that excel in the legal field. Honorees were selected by representatives of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and by members of the legal community.

Leah is an Associate of the firm, and a member of the firm’s Energy Practice Group. She represents electric and gas public utilities and municipal aggregators in the Commonwealth on energy efficiency initiatives and other energy-related matters. Leah advises energy companies before the Department of Public Utilities and the Energy Efficiency Advisory Council.  She has also worked in and for City, State, Federal Government, International Development institutions, as well as the private sector on issues related to energy, cities, and climate change. She also served as Director of Climate Analysis for Mayor Bloomberg’s Special Initiative for Rebuilding and Resiliency following Hurricane Sandy. In this capacity, she worked with New York City’s Panel on Climate Change, FEMA, utilities, and other city, state, and federal agencies to develop the climate risk information that was used to inform rebuilding efforts and utility storm hardening plans, and to advocate for changes to federal disaster policy.

Leah was nominated to Top Women of Law because of her outstanding contribution on Rich May’s Energy Team.

Rich May is proud of this impressive recognition — congratulations Leah!
