Harold B. Dondis
Harold
B. Dondis, former Managing Director and of counsel to the firm
concentrates on corporate and public utility law, as well as estate
planning taxation with a specialty in legal analysis of federal and
Massachusetts law. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School (LLD) and
Bowdoin College (B.S). Mr. Dondis provides counsel to electric, gas,
cable and various commercial companies, with a particular focus on
natural gas companies. Mr. Dondis is admitted to the bar in
Massachusetts, several U.S. Circuit Courts and the United States
Supreme Court, where he has argued several cases. He is a member of the
Massachusetts Bar Association, Trustee and former CEO of the U.S. Chess
Trust, a national charity focused on chess education, and is the Editor
of the bi-weekly Chess Notes column of the Boston Globe. The U.S. Chess
Federation named Mr. Dondis as the recipient of the 2001 Cramer Award
for “Best Chess Column.” Mr. Dondis and his wife Claire, reside in
Belmont, Massachusetts.
