Biography

Matthew Sweet graduated from Boston College Law School in 2018. He previously interned at Rich May in the summer of 2017, gaining experience in a wide range of practice areas, including business, corporate, litigation, real estate, and trust and estate law. Mr. Sweet assisted with a variety of projects during his internship, including guiding a non-profit client through the application process and regulatory framework in connection with an affordable-housing development for veterans.

During law school, Mr. Sweet gained valuable experience as a staff writer and outreach editor for the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest, BCLS’s publication focused on commercial law. He also spent a summer clerking for a Boston-area firm practicing in the construction law and insurance defense fields. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Sweet received a Bachelors in Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he also graduated from the Commonwealth Honors College. 

Outside of the law, Mr. Sweet enjoys spending time outdoors, and can often be found snowboarding, fishing or hiking with his two dogs. He currently lives in Dedham, Massachusetts.
