Marshall Peterson is featured in the cover story of the October 2006 edition of Bio-IT World for his work in designing a “data center for the ages” for Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Peterson conceived, designed and built the innovative supercomputer that enabled Celera Genomics to win the race to map the Human Genome in the datacenter rather than the lab.
