Rich May client, Netspoke named one of top three fastest growing technology companies in Deloitte’s Fast 50 program

Attributes 5,119% revenue growth rate to accelerated adoption of integrated audio and web conferencing services and Netspoke’s solid reputation for performance, price and customer service

WOBURN, Mass., September 29, 2004 — Netspoke was named one of the top three fastest growing technology companies at the prestigious Deloitte Fast 50 Program for New England awards ceremony yesterday. The Fast 50 program is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services firms. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 1999–2003.

Netspoke’s CEO Scott D’Entremont credits accelerated adoption of integrated audio and web conferencing services and Netspoke’s solid reputation for performance, price and customer service with the company’s 5,119 percent revenue growth from 1999–2003. This impressive growth rate resulted in a #3 ranking in the Fast 50 for New England. The average increase in revenues among companies who made the Fast 50 for this region was 1,515 percent.

“We were honored to be named a finalist in August, but our ranking in the Top 3 really validates our success and the need for a customer-service-centric approach to conferencing and collaboration,” said D’Entremont. “Small to mid-sized enterprises are rallying around the idea of using real-time communications such as audio and web conferencing to create awareness and bottom line results. Netspoke’s growth and recognition in the Fast 50 listing is further evidence of this.”

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1999 and $1,000,000 in 2003, must be public or private companies headquartered in North America, and be a “technology company” defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues (using other companies’ technology in a unique way does not qualify); and/or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.

Winners of the 19 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America’s top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
