Rich May’s Jeff Loeb Presents a seminar for LandAmerica Title Insurance Company entitled “Bankruptcy and Its Effects on Title”

Rich May attorney Jeff Loeb recently presented a breakfast seminar entitled “Bankruptcy and Its Effects on Title” for 50 agents and title examiners of Land America Title Insurance Company at the Bostonian Hotel. The seminar focused on traps caused by the filing of a bankruptcy that attorneys who certify title and examiners who do the title searches need to be aware of. Discussions ranged from the distinction between the grant of the discharge and the closing and/or dismissing of a bankruptcy to the recent case of In re: Colaruso dealing with selling property free and clear of encumbrances.
