Rich May Client, ESS Corporation, Acquires Commonwealth Carrier Corp.

Rich May is pleased to have represented ESS Corporation in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Commonwealth Carrier Corp. of Woburn, Massachusetts and in connection with its private placement and bank financing in connection with the acquisition. Following the closing, ESS Corporation changed its name to Commonwealth Carrier Corporation (“Commonwealth Carrier”). Commonwealth Carrier is New England’s largest independent specialty courier, delivering small parcels for banks, insurance companies, payroll processors, optical products manufacturers and other businesses on regularly scheduled routes throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine.
